Our Goldens

Connor was my first Golden purchased from a reputable breeder. He was named after a rescue golden I owned who died of a heart abnormality. Connor is an incredible dog. He has the ability to sense the moods of those around him. He will lie still and be as quiet as a mouse when visiting  children as a therapy dog but when I travel he is the protector of the home. When Cider was just a puppy Connor alerted my wife that Cider had fallen in the pool and then proceeded to jump in and pull her to safety. To view Connor's pedigree click here

Int. Ch. Gold-Rush Copper State's Cider CGC TD 

Cider is a wonderful dog and is an excellent example of a Golden Retriever. She is a very active girl that will bike, hike or run with you all day but she will also come and lay down on your feet.  Her loving and playful temperament has been a blessing to our family. Cider was named by my wife because as a puppy she was the color of Apple Cider. She has won several first place ribbons in Conformation shows over the last several years including a Group 1st  and a International Conformation Title. While we still show her on occasion she is busy training for her first hunt test which we hope to compete early next year. UKC Ch. Copper State's Higher Place

Sierra is the latest addition to the Copper State pack. She is one of the girls from the Independence Litter and is Ciders Daughter. She had already proven to be very birdy and is a natural in the show ring. In Feburary 2012 at the very young age of 9 months she earned her United Kennel Club Conformation title! We have high hopes for our first home grown Golden Retriever.
